Abstract

Effect of organic manure sources applied with biofertilizer and compost tea with regard to yield, fruit quality and leaf mineral content of Valencia orange trees. This studied was carried out throughout three successive seasons (2010/11&2011/12&2012/13) on 10 years old Valencia orange trees (Citrus sinensis L.) budded on Volkamer lemon (C. volkameriana L.) rootstock and planting distance was 5×5 meters, in sandy soil under drip irrigation system in private orchard at Al-kamal region, Ismalia Governorate , Egypt . This study was carried out through two main experiments .The first experiment involved two factors ; the first factor included of 75 unit N / faddan / year from organic manure
( cattel manure , chicken manure, and compost tea ) and the second factor included of 3 levels on compost tea ( 0, 25, 50 ) N faddan / year. the experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design with three replicates , one tree each experiment contained 8 treatments x 3 compost tea = 24 treatments.
Second experiment this experiment included 3 levels on compost tea (75, 100, 125) unit N and Humic acid was added to 4 levels (0 , 6, 9, 12 ) litre / tree / year the experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design with three replicates , one tree for each . The experiment contained 3 compost tea x 4 humic acid treatments = 12 treatments
Therefore one can conclude that fertilizing Valencia orange tress budded on Volkamer lemon with treatment ch M with zero compost tea and ch M with 50 unit N/ fed/ year compost tea . Proved to be the best fertilization program under the conditions of Al-kamal region, Ismalia Governorate , Egypt. treatment had highest significant values of potassium, iron, zinc leaf content , juice % and yied kg /tree of Valencia orange trees. Fruit weigh, and fruit length had highest values but the
lowest value of peel thickness of Valencia orange trees. All other prameters had inconstant trend. So it is considered the recommended treatment for the herein study.and the treatment12 L humic acid with 125 unit / fed compost tea gave the highest significant value for fruit weight, fruit length, Fruit diameter, fruit volume, juice volume, fruit juice % , T.S.S % , T.S.S/ acid ratio, ascorbic acid and Yield and fruit number / tree . The same treatment had highest significant values of Nitrogen, Posphorus and potassium but the lowest value of peel thickness and acidity (%) . iron, zinc, Manganese leaf content and nitrate contents in fruit juice had inconstant trend. So it is considered the recommended treatment for the here in study. Key Words:
