The media exposure had become behavior daily by many segments of society, especially with the growing role played by the media in life, and the diversity and multiplicity of those means between the recite, and visible, and audible, and the mail: Among these media stands television as a unique attract individuals from environments activities and different social levels.
TV has a high level of interest generally by Egyptian public and especially by rural public.
The TV drama occupied a large area since people started to watch television, related to its attraction and a great ability to spread.
This has resulted in constant exposure to different types of drama effects of positive and negative strength varied between members of the community with varying characteristics, and age, and the diversity of affiliations.
And stretching aspects of these effects to multiple areas, including influencing the behaviors of viewers, including the offer of different behavioral patterns through dramatic characters, which may have an impact on the behavior of the viewer if technically perfected built and then increased the chances of this viewer interaction with them and emotional.
And many studies show that young adulthood of the most important stages of change experienced by the individual, As the youth in any society are the first to respond to the moral virtue of amendment processes of mental aptitudes, And their tendency to overcome the reality around them, they are the first to be affected by a default or imaginary reality provided by the drama, Here lies the danger drama offering directions and certain criteria, Density may result in exposure to these contents of different several Tatter, The most important influence on the behavior of youth .
The Problem study:
The research problem core arise from exacerbate the number of drama series which have popularity and a great attraction being able to influence the different categories and a variety of characteristics of the audience received, especially rural youth, where they are half of the present and all of the future, and what they learn or acquire are important in the psyche of future generations, So it was important to identify the preferences of rural youth for the series offered by the Egyptian television and patterns of interaction and motivation when they exposed to these series and its relation to their acquisition of societal values and behaviors.
However plurality sheer drama presented by the television has drawer custom recently in Egypt on increasing the intensity seen in the holy month of Ramadan, has been relying on the results of the reports of Radio and Television Union ratios watch these dramas in during the month of Ramadan (2011) and then selected the serial drama broader View at that time a series of (Al Rayyan) to be a practical test to conduct this study, and by answering the following questions:
1- What are the types of drama that favored by youth?
2 - To what extent youth realized the content of this series?
3 - What are the forms and degree of influence?
4 - What is the relative importance of the rural youth of the components of the series?
detailed and affecting the perception of its content?
5 - To what extent the rural youth miniseries satisfied?
6 - What is the most important behavioral aspects in the series that led to that conviction?
Objectives of the study:
In light of the above-mentioned study questions can crystallize the objectives of the study are as follows:
1 - Identifying the types of drama favored by young people.
2 - To identify the degree of awareness of rural youth to the content of the series.
3 - Get forms and degree of influence.
4 - To identify the relative importance of the detailed components of the series among rural youth and affecting the degree of awareness of young people referred to previously.
5 - Get on the degree of conviction young rural miniseries.
6 - Get on the relative importance of the cognitive and behavioral aspects of the series.
Plan of the study :
In order to achieve the goals of the study, in addition to the introduction that deals with defining the problem, its importance
and the aims, one Arabic summary and another English one, both could be found in the appendix; the study is also composed of two other parts.
The first part deals with methodological and the theoretical fram .
It is composed of six chapters: Media and Drama, The origins and evolution of television drama, Youth and Human Behavior, previous studies, the methodology and the procedural concepts, variables and hypotheses of the study.
Part two deals with: the methodological and field study. It is comprised of four chapters: case study, methodological variable, results and finally the observations and recommendations. To achieve the objectives of the study, the study used quantitative and analytical approach and methodology Social Survey sample after a deliberate choice for most serial watch, The study used a descriptive analysis tools represented in the relative importance and the arithmetic mean and the appropriate moral tests. The factor analysis was used to arrange the elements contained in the technical aspects and indicators formalism, cognitive and behavioral aspects of the series.
In addition to the application form has been selected a random sample of 60 single from the village of al-Zahra Youth Center Zagazig through records Zahra Youth Center, which includes 670 young men and women.
Variables of the study have passed a series of stages are:
First stage: extract the main content of the drama series since the researcher repeated viewing of the series, where the core content has been extracted in the form of objective statements second stage: Showing all the substantive terms of five arbitrators from among faculty members and part of the Graduate Studies in the Department of the rural community and agricultural extension faculty and each arbitrator has developed scores for each phrase and phrases were excluded least degree.
Third stage: Preliminary test work for all ferries after the exclusion of certain phrases arbitration after the group of respondents, on the basis of which was to exclude another group of phrases and modify the terms in which he was something of a mystery.
Fourth stage: a link between me work for each set of phrases phrases which were excluded there was a significant correlation among them.
V stage: work in between averages between males and females in the study sample, it appeared that the difference between them is not significant and therefore was considered one sample and not the two samples.
The study used a descriptive analysis tools represented in the relative importance and the arithmetic average as factor analysis was used in order to achieve the goals of the study with the order of the elements included indicators for the technical and formal aspects for a series.
Study Result :
The study showed that 38.3% of the total rural youth prefer the diversity of views, 38% of the total rural youth prefer social drama and that means it is the best for the majority of rural youth, so as to relate often social reality which they live or desires humanity found inside them.
The study also found that 61.6% of the total rural youth that their awareness of what is stated in the series was above average.
The results of the factor analysis to the decline of the general concept of the behavioral aspects of a set of concepts is the policy of monopoly goods appropriate trade policy, Followed by the principle of the end justifies the means, Followed by proverbs located in series.
The results also suggest that the cognitive aspects of the close association and behavioral aspects the entire owner made the biggest impact through the main characters of the series.
This means the important impact of the drama on both aspects of cognitive and behavioral aspects.
