Summary:
The computer became the main drive in the actual worldwide economy, and the life around us is activated by it. In addition, there is a new industry named SOFTWAER which provided new work opportunities and it became a commerce which has its influence in the international economy, and the country that has this industry and proves its progress, so it has a real force in our world today.
Visual Basic.net language is one of the strong and easy programming languages, because it is a programming language for the beginners, amateurs and students, therefore; this search aimed at know the effectiveness of multiple medications program using Flash programs in development of some of programming skills for the preparatory stage students, through the answer to the following questions:
1– What are the programming skills suitable for the students of the third preparatory stage?
2– What is the visualization proposed to build a program (programming) using the multiple effective medications to develop some of the programming skills?
3– What is the effectiveness of using the program (programming) proposed to develop the programming skills?
To realize the search purposes:
The researcher used the quasi-experimental method to know how is the effectiveness of the program in development of the programming skills for the students who are the study sample and were composed of (46) students from the third preparatory stage in the Girls Preparatory School followed to Farshot Educational Directorate- Kena Governorate, and to realize this aims of study, the researcher prepared the following tools:
1. A list of programming skills.
2. Electronic knowledge test by prepared by the researcher.
3. A note card of the programming skills performance prepared by the researcher.
4. Building of multiple effective medications program using Flash programs.
Firstly: The list of the skills suitable for the third preparatory stage students : to determine the programming skills suitable for the students of the third preparatory stage, the researcher made an analysis to the contents of the first three units of the book of Introduction to Programming – the second term 2011 / 2012 for the students who are the sample of research, and he could find the main following skills:
The treatment with kinds of data.
The announcement of constants.
Using specialization and replacement order. The Announcement of the variables.
The transfer between the different kinds of data.
The implementation of calculations in Visual Basic.
Using of phrase sentence ( if………….. then).Using of phrase sentence ( if …. then …….. else). Using of phrase sentence ( if…….then……else if).
Using of a loop (for………next).
Using the tool (list box) and its characters. Using the tool (group box).
Using the tool (Radio Button).
Using the tool (Check Box).
Secondly: The electronic knowledge test: an electronic knowledge test was made by the researcher using Wonder Share Quiz Creator Program.
Thirdly: A note card of the programming skills performance: a note card was made by the researcher and it was composed of 14 main skills and 70 sub skills. Fourthly: Building of program (programming) which was composed of (20) lessons, and to build it the researcher used Flash Cs4 programs and Action Script 2, and also he used Tadween to write in Arabic inside Flash program, whereas Flash CS4 doesn’t support Arabic language, and using Photoshop CS2
to design the background and some frames, used also Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 and Wonder Share Quiz Creator to construct the tests inside the programming, in addition to the electronic knowledge test, and he used also CamtasiaStudio6 to register the effective video which the researcher registered using his voice, and the researcher offered questions inside the video, and if the student offered a false answer, the student returns to the explaining point related to the point which he offered a false answer. The researcher prepared more than one video to the same lesson with different examples to offer further clarifications for the students in the lessons which are difficult in the exploratory experiments.
The researcher, to treat with the statistical data, used Berson correlation coefficient with the method of deviations to show the correlation relation between the pre-application and following application of the test, the note card, Man – Whitney test for the independent couples to examine the difference between the mediation of the ranks of the experimental and regulatory groups altogether before and after the application of the program to know how the program is effective in development of some programming skills for the students of the third preparatory stage, and he used also the rate of gain of the program effectiveness account.
The researcher concluded as follows:
1. There is a difference statistically at the level (0,05) between the middle of the ranks of both experimental and regulatory groups with respect to the following application for the electronic knowledge test related to the programming skills for the benefit to the experimental group.
2. There is a difference statistically at the level (0,05) between the middle of the ranks of both experimental and regulatory groups with respect to the following application for the note card in the skillful performance for the benefit to the experimental group.
In the light of the ex-results, the researcher recommended the following:
1- The necessity to take into account the computer variable with respect to the suitability of the modern programs.
2- Availability of effective educational programs with a Visual Basic. Net for the students.
3- Taking into account the production of educational programs prepared using the effective mediations style in the different scholastic curriculums for various education stages, because they have a great impact on the education and teaching operation.
4- Taking into account the teaching of old programs such as Basic and Logo, linking them with the modern languages, where they are suitable for students in the early age stages, and they are also simple and easy regarding its orders.
5- Making further studies around the use of effective multiple mediations programs in teaching of the educations subjects, specially which are prepared by Flash program, and they have enormous possibilities in the programming of effective multiple mediations.
6- Availability of effective multiple mediations in the scholastic environment.
