المستخلص
This study examined “Political and Cultural Role of Al-Jawary
in Al-Andalus since the Islamic invasion to the Establishment of
Al-Moravids State” (92-479 AH /711-1086 AD). The researcher
defined the influence of Al-Jawary in general life in Andalusia,
to determine the roles and fields where Al-Jawary contributed
during that period. This was figured out in:
1- Their influence on the Andalusia political life by imposing
their influence, or their conspiracy to bring their children to
rule Andalusia, or by their military situations.
2- Their influence on the economic life when they were bought
or sold, in addition to their expenses and the gifts given to
them, and their charity works in the Andalusia society.
3- Their reduction of the girls free marriage opportunities, due
to the prosperity of their trafficking and their low prices, and
their knowledge of the approaches of capturing the minds and
hearts of men. In addition, they affected the Andalusia
family. Mothers of some children disseminated hatred and
aggression among brothers in their attempt to win the prince
apparent tile for their children.
4- They transmitted the oriental culture and its science to
Andalusia, and participated in cultural life whether by placing
the writings and teaching the seekers, or by employing their
science and arts. In addition, Al-Jawary of their different

types transmitted the cultures, languages and traditions of
their peoples.
5- They affected poetry in Andalusia because they were a source
of inspiration for poets in Andalusia, in addition to their
poetic production, and they enabled many oriental poetic
forms that they choose in the entertainment sittings.
6- In addition, they promoted the spheres of freedom that
distinguished Andalusia, for their freedom of clothes and
going out to markets, interrelation with men and cohabitation
with hem, along with the courageous expression of their
feelings. Freedom of some of them has become a source of
disintegration, corruption and depravity in Andalusia. In
addition, they participated in the establishment of the singing
movement in Andalusia, and the biggest share was titled to
the oriental Al-Jawary Al Mashreqiat who taught Al-Jawary
of Andalusia and contributed to establish the bases of Al-
Andalus Singing.
