Secondary education is gaining importance because it deals with young people in the most delicate stages of growth, and prepares the Opportunities to continue his studies in higher education or work in the fields of life, which along with the pillar for the development of skills necessary to mature citizen, as a student at this stage up to the level of maturity that can control many of the skills and capabilities.
And high school overall is an extension of the primary school overall, and have the same purposes, and offers a large variety of courses to meet the different needs of pupils, and perhaps deliberately to the distribution of students to classes by age and abilities and interests, provided that is divided into separate branches, such as track the academic track and technical, which include schools they bilateral or multilateral, which is a difficult combination of the idea of the comprehensive high school.
This version has the benefits of the eradication of images social differences that exist between schools theoretical and technical, and thus help to achieve the principle of equal educational opportunities, and that the presence of one school for all young people helps to their understanding, and leads to convergence among themselves, and destroy the social differences that exist, and the idea of school the overall effect on the idea that the distinction between theoretical education and vocational education has become futile; therefore the curriculum should take into account this fact so as to provide topics for students well-prepared and comprehensive.
