Balance has a great importance for Basketball players , and has it~
important role in improving the skills of this game ; especially t&
composite ones In addition , the sensory systems — the physical , the
visual and the vestibular — play an important role in the sporting
performance and in balance control of all sport activities ; since the
efficiency of the technical performance of the different kinetic skills
which requires the balance element , depends on the efficiency of the
sensory system , especially which performing body movement in the air —
or the according movements and also descending after jumping and
balance movements , also the skills that require accuracy and speed
performance besides the sudden change.
Many scientists and researchers believe that improving the sensory
system or some of its components , such as physical sensual system and
the visual one , leads to improving the kinetic poise of the different sport
activities youngsters , and consequently improving their proficiency level
such as the Basketball activity whose skills require speed performance
and sudden change at the time of performing trickery movements and at
the time of performing passing and receiving skills . Also accuracy in
aiming with all of its different types Basketball also requires performing
body movements in the air or according movements during performing
aiming skills or jumbing for defending and preventing the attackers from
aiming Also feet fulcrum movements, when
The player needs to regain his balance in order to be able to continue
his movements Developing the balance ability of the players greatly
affects the proficiency performance of the game ; so when the coach
doesn’t care of mainly developing balance just like the other abilities
then the proficiency performance , in many cases during training , lacks
ease and time and effort sawing at the beginning and later also lacks
accuracy and being fluent.

Out of his observation of some Basketball youngsters
performing some skills , the researcher noticed a reduction of the ba
level of performing that skills , and he noticed also the difficul
performing some kinetic skills which are mainly related to balance d
the training . Reading the content of the training programs of
youngsters , the researcher found out that so many coachs don’t ca
improving the kinetic poise of theft players’, despite its important ft
skills of this game, especially the composite ones.
In addition , the various playing situations during the match in
on the players the necessity of using the composite forms and integi
kinetic performance groups that mainly need balance . to make su
This observation Through scientific step, the researcher has carried c
exploratory study of youngsters group of different sporting clubs to]
the ability of those players of balance through balance tests that are
in many scientific treatises and different references beside~
compatibility to the basketball activity the research found ou
weakness of the balance level of those youngsters despite the impc
need for perfecting the basketball skills.
That is what urged the researcher to make a program for imprc
some of the sensory system’s components , the physical sensual s~
and the visual system , and to find out its impact on improving the ki
balance level and the proficiency level of the Basketball youngster.
Research aims
- Identi~ing the impact of the proposed program on the kinetic se
perceptions that are under consideration.
- Identi~’ing the impact of the proposed program on the kinetic balance.
- Identi~’ing the impact of the proposed program on the skill level c
Basketball youngster.
- Identi~ing the impact of the proposed program on the somato systen
the visual system.
- Identifying the value of each of the somato system, the visual system
the vestibular system in the whole mark of balance
Hypotheses
- There are statically significant differences between pre and
measurements of the kinetic sensual perceptions in the favor of the
measurement of the research sample
- There are statically significant differences between both pre and p0:
measurements of the kinetic balance in the favor of the post measuremex
of the research sample.
- There are statically significant differences between pre and po~
measurements of the Basketball skills that are , according to expert
opinion, a close relevant to the kinetic balance in the favor of the po~
measurement of the research sample.
- There are statically significant differences between pre and poE
measurements of the physical sensual system and the visual system in th
favor of the post measurement of the research sample.
-The value of each of the physical system , the visual system , and th~
vestibular system contribute differently in the whole mark of balance fo
the basketball youngesters.
Research Procedures
- Research Methodology : As an appropriate methodology for the kind o~
the study and to achieve the research aims , the researchers used the
experimental method with pre and post measurement for two groups ; one
is controlled and the other is experimental.
- Research Community : Doing his research , the researcher who are
registered in both the Military Production Club for the athletic season
2012 — 2013 , and the Egyptian Federation of Basketball.
Research Sample:
the research sample included nineteen youngsters who were intentionally
selected , thus the sample represented the entire research community.the
researcher ruled out three players due to the sight weakness of one of them
and the knee injuring of the others.
