Abstract
The exceeding number of population depending on the natural resources has caused the decrease of these resources the decline of economic standard and has devolved major environmental; proem the need to seeking a sustainable life increase in all the aspects of life sustainability has become one of the major concerns of this era need of the governmental strategies policies and legislation to support such approach in life. This these is concerned with sustainability from the architectural point of view the principles and concepts of sustainability have been thoroughly discussed in the thesis to different approaches to the principles of sustainable along with a clear under standing of the designer who are seeking for ecological design ( the biomimicry ) outlines its principles and concepts to gather with some of the applications in life and architecture in an attempt to increase the knowledge of ecological designed and its strategies through an analysis study to some of the buildings adopting the biomimicry approach the thesis shows how an ecological approach in the designed process can be applied as a basis for effective building design with respect to nature and its resurgences its concluded that certain factors must be considered while attempting a design strategy for sustaining the environment and the concept of development recommendation for the building design process are outlined to gather with the knowledge of ecological design and its recent perspective ( the biomimicry )
