Abstract

‎SUMMARY:

‎Since the main channels of communication have yet to reach the rural areas of developing countries, are available to governmental authorities central adequate information on the conditions of these areas and situations where it deserves attention to these circles, and put under the microscope of for development and therefore overall growth environment Because the world actually need to pay attention to the countryside and the continuing development of that statute and the only hope to preserve the ecological balance and the most important achievement of the goals of sustainable development, which was recognized in all press conferences and for sustainable development. Affected by the rural population in the developing world, in a broad and direct rapid changes >. Trade liberalization led to a high level of integration of rural economies in the domestic and global markets together. The rural population is now facing historic circumstances change, and therefore unpredictable nature of the rural population in response to the new climate, But this response more important economic factor. In cope with the rapid transformation taking place at all levels, whether economic, social or cultural, witnessed the agricultural labor in turn, tangible changes and become more variable.
‎And many of the rural farmers are leaning now, because of production constraints, to migrate to the cities in search of employment and to maximize the potential of access to scarce resources and raising the living standard of their families. ‎Definition of the problem:
‎considered the issue of development in general and rural development in particular, one of the most important issues of concern to scientists and the boom and the economy The policy, planning and management in the recent contemporary, is not just a matter of academic interest in this issue, but share that concern men governance and decision makers and the people, and is due to several reasons:
1. ‎Most of the world’s population-particularly in developing countries - live in the countryside, for example, we find that the average proportion of the population the countryside in the Arab world, with the exception of Kuwait, amounting to about 60-85% of the total population.
2. ‎The operations of statistical surveys conducted in Africa and Asia that between 75% and 85% of the rural population engaged in agriculture, either the rest of the rural population engaged in other rural industries, including trade, transportation and services.
3. ‎The proportion of agriculture in the Arab countries of the total rural population of between 45-75% 4.
5. ‎Inadequate development patterns followed in many third world countries face the requirements of the Food and capital formation, and because inadequate investment in human resources in rural areas.
