Abstract
In the light of this study, it can be argued that the radioactive isotopes and ultrasound are not the best methods to diagnose the nature of thyroid nodules, where it can not be reliable in the diagnosis of tumors of the thyroid cancer. In contrast, the results of this study confirm the effectiveness of the use of fine needle uniform units as a means of diagnosis before surgery for thyroid nodules. Given the ease of use, safety and low cost addition to the accuracy of the uniform units using a tiny needle that is worth a first step reliable in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules and knowledge of nature. And therefore it is recommended depending on the needle minute uniform units in the centers that have the experience of cytological method to determine the optimal patient who is in real need for surgery of the thyroid gland. So as to reduce the number of operations to eradicate the thyroid gland is not necessary to assume that the proportion of complications and disabilities in addition to depletion of resources for medical service is a very important element for developing country like ours.
