4-(3,4 Dimethoxy-phenyl)-4-oxo-but-2-enioc acid {I} and/or 3,5-Bis-(3,4-dimethoxy-phenyl)-3H-furan-2-one {III} were via Friedel-Crafts reaction from reaction of 1.2 dimethoxy benzene with maleic anhydride in 1.1-2.2 tetra chloro ethane.
Reaction of {I} with thiorea in boling absolute ethanol and in presence of glacial actic acid gave 2-Amino-4-{2-(3.4-dimethoxy-phenyl)-2-oxo-ethyl}-4H-thiazol-5-one {IV}.
Reaction of {IV} with hydrazine hydrate afforded the formation of 3-(3.4 Dimethoxy-phenyl)-4.4a-dihydro-thiazolo{5,4-c} pyridazin-6-ylamine {V}.
Reaction of {I} nd/or {III} with hydrazine hydrate. acetyl acetone, diethyl malonate. Benzyl amine 1.2 dichloro ethane. 1-2 Dimano ethane and Amino-acetic methyl ester afforded the formation of the corresponding products 1-Amino-3.5 bis-(3.4-dimethixy-phenyl) 1.3-dihydor-pyrrol-2-one {IV}. 2.4 - Bits(3.4-dimethoxy-phenyl)-4-oxo-butyric acid {VII}, 2-{2.4-Bits-(3.4-dimethoxy-phenyl)-4-oxo-butyryl}-,alonic acid diethyl ester {VIII}. 1-Benzyl-3.5-bis-(3.4 dimethoxy-phenyl)-1.3-dihydro-1.2-one {IX}, 2-{2.4-BIs-3.4-dimethoxy-phenyl)-4-oxo-butyryl}-malonic.
