Abstract In order to study the occurrence of infectious diseases among sewage workers in Alexandria one hundred workers exposed to sewage and anther one hundred unexposed workers as a control were selected randomly data from workers was obtained by specially designed interviewing questionnaire all cases were clinically examined examination of urine nail and stool specimen were carried out for exosed and unexposed workers . The results obtained from this study could be summarized as follow: Exposed workers had a significant higher mean age 44.25±8.9 tears than unexposed workers 40.41± 10 years (t = 2.875 ) married workers were significantly more encountered among the exposed workers than unexposed workers . |
