Abstract No doubt that decline in muscle performance that menopause is a serious threat. Physical training was ftund to in of skeletal muscle in postmenopausal and elderly women. The also considered in the reversal of the deterioration in muscle per accompanying menopause. The aim of the present investigation is to study the possible benr of treadmill exercise training and / or estradiol replacement on s and creatine phosphokinase ; neuromuscular performance and glucose skeletal muscle in ovariectomized rats. I Forty adult lemale albino rats ,of the local strain weighed 15O-2OO each, were used in this investigation. Rats were divided into the for’ groups Group I:- Non- oi’uriectoniized group. Group II:- ovariectomized non exercised- non treated group. Group III :- ovariectomized exercised group. Group IV:- ovariectomized estradiol treated group. Group V :- ovariectomized exercised & treated group. At the end of the experiment, retro-orbital blood samples collected for estimation of serum CPK(Creatine Phosphokinase) and Estradiol E2 .Then all rats were sacrified by cervical decapitation and p nerve diaphragm preparations were excised and connected to 4 c oscillograph and the preparations were used for for estimation of the s muscle contraction and its glucose uptake. |
