Abstract This work entailed through review of literature on varicocele and male fertility. Also study of serum free and total testosterone levels in normal male subjects and in persons with varicocele, and we tried to find any correlation between these hormones and different seminal parameters(both in controls and in varicocele patients) among different age groups. Sixty male subjects, their ages ranged from 20-60 years, were chosen and divided into three age groups (20-30, 35-45 and 50-60 years), each group enrolled 20 subjects and was subdivided into 2 subgroups according to absence or presence of varicocele. Group I (No. 20): —> G[C 10 control subjects without varicocele. GfV 10 subjects with clinically evident varicocele. Group II (No. 20):—^ GnC 10 control subjects without varicocele. GI[VIO subjects with clinically evident varicocele. | Group III (No. 20):—^GmC 10 control subjects without varicocele GniV 10 subjects with clinically evident varicocele. All patients and controls were subjected to through history taking(personal, present, past and family). Also general and local examinations were done.
