Abstract
Schistosomiasis in Egypt is the ”bop of the puplic health problem . It is now well known to’ be an immLmolo- gical disease.
The adverse effect of the Schistosoma eggs trapped in the tissue (granuloma formation) is well established to be an immunological reaction of delayed hypersenseti- vity type Our study conseders the effect of immimenhancement drug on infected animal with S» mansoni.
Hundered and Ten swiss albino mice divided into eleven group , each group contains ten mice in individual cages labelled from A - K . Ten of these groups were infected by 60 S. mansoni cercariae for each individual mouse by intraperitoneal injection (each mice 20 grams) , each mouse was treated by levamisole from day 35 post in-fection till saerified ( 1 mg./mouse/day ) . Also prazi- quantel was given in a dose of ( 7.5 nig. /mouse ) 2 weeks
