Abstract
The aim of the present study was to assess the effects of the Eruption Guidance Myofunctional Appliance EGMA , Known as the vertical overbite for a follow up period 9 months . The sample consists of 23 patients , their ages ranged between 8-10 years . It included 12 patients with class 1 occlusion , and 5 patients with open bites class 1 occlusion . For each pateint , lateral cephalometric x-ray , panoramic x-ray as well as study models were done at base done .
