Abstract Staff nurses are in need for special care because of the impact of stress ethical professional practice and the nursing shortage. Thus, caring nurse managers should give priority to their needs in an unselfish way to be craftsman in their work. A staff nurse caring is a reciprocal process between nursing managers and staff nurses. It constituted the ethical foundation and the core of nurses managers positive leadership role and management functions. Caring for staff nurses is expressed by nursing managers integrated application of mind, body and spirit, toward maximizing staff nurses positive outcome of growth and well being. The aim of the study was to develop the nursing manager caring competencies and perception through implementing of specialized educational program on caring knowledge, skill, social role, beliefs and values. |
