Abstract The aim of these work was to evaluate the result of surgical reconstruction of chronic symptomatic anterior circulate ligament deficient knees using a semitendinosus tendon graft. Fifty patients have been included in this study twenty five of which have been operated upon in el hadra orthopedics and grammatology university hospital and twenty five patients in sated knee klinik Hamburg Germany. The minimum follow up period was two years. The indications of surgical reconstruction were presence of functional instability on routine daily activities and also those patients wishing to continue participating in sports activities. |
