Abstract In this prospective study , 30 consecutive patients were discussed with thoracic extra aural spinal tumors, admitted at neurosurgical department in both Alexandria main university a period from march 2002 to may 2004. The purpose of this study is to present the current data concerning surgical treatment of spinal extramural tumors and relevant issues such as evaluation diagnostic work-up adjunctive preoperative procedures and surgical techniques. This study demonstrated the peak incidence of spinal extramural tumors to be in fifth and sixth decades of life; 57% of patients. |
