Abstract Nowadays, increasing attention has been focused on investigating occupational stress and its COI)SCLILIC[ICCS aniong nurses. Emotional demands of’ patients, inadequate stalling, work overload , conflicting among patients, direct patient care, organizational environment, excessive paper work, lack of involvement ’in decision making, lack of’ leedback fi om supervisors regarding job performance, meeting the perceived demands of immediate supervisors, conflict with other healthcare providers, lack of effective Communication, lack of job security, excessive time away from home and farnily were identified as sources of stress. Stress can result in a variety of outcome variable. These include physical or somatic outcomes such as coronary heart disease, and reduced brain functions such as memory, concentration, and learning. Affection of social outcomes such as psychological outcomes such psychological well being, life satisfaction, and mental health can also occur. Stress can also result. |
