Abstract

Prostatitis is very difficult disease affect men at all ages mainly from 18-80 years. Nearly half of men affected with prostatitis at their lives.
Prostatitis classified recently into acute bacterial proststitis, chronic bacterial prostatitis and chronic pelivic pain syndrome, wich classified into inflammatory ( Non Bacterial proststitis ) and no inflammatory ( prostatodynia ).
Chronic Bacterial proststitis is mysterious disease characterized by recurrent urinary tract infection. It is diagnosed by Mears method ( four glass test ) VB1, VB, EPS and VB3 .
The most bacteria isolated from patients with chronic bacteria prostatitis were Gram-negative ( E. coli, Klebsiella, proteus, Enterobacter and pseudomonas ), also Gram-positive bacteria causes prostatitis include staphylococcus aureus, staphylococcus epidermidis and streptococcus faecalis.
The first line treatment for chronic proststitis is quinolones because high lipid solubility and highly penetration power into prostatic fluid, it reaches prostatic tissue in concentration higher than that in plasma.
