Abstract
The study was carried out on 60 patients included two main groups:
1- Thirty newly diagnosed cases of ALL & NHL.
2- Thirty relapsed cases, “after the first remission” of ALL & NHL.
Controls included:
a- Oncogenic controls:
10 cases of which cases of Hodgkin`s lymphoma & 5 cases of retinoblastoma were included.
b-Healthy controls:
included 10 apperently healthy children of matchable age and sex.
Both patients and controls were subjected to full clinical examination, complete peripheral haemogram, bone marrow examination and biopsy from access able body masses.
