Abstract
In this work , the effects of melatonin administration during gestation on postnatal development of the prostate gland and seminal vesicle have been investigated.
Pregnant female albino rats were classified into 2 groups; the first group ( n=30) were injected with melatonin subcutaneously in a dose of 250ug/100g body weight daily from the 5th day of gestation until delivery. The second group ( n=10) were used as control.
