Abstract
This work was done in the department of Anesthesiology faculty of medicine Assuit Unuversity Hospital. This study was carried out on 40 adult patients 20 males and 20 females. They are scheduled for elective surgical operations and free of any system affection and euthyriod. Patients received premedication in the form of Atropine ( 0.01 mg. Kg) and pethidine ( 1.0 mg/ Kg)
