The main goal of this research was to develop and investigate the effectiveness of an interactive on-line reading program for developing some writing skills of Suez Faculty of Education English majors.The treatment was applied at Suez Faculty of Education, Suez canal University with the participation of 11 English major students who were the cases of this study in the second semester of the year 2007.The tools of the study included the writing tests and the proposed program ”online reading and writing program” which aimed at integrating reading and writing via the internet. The program consisted of three stages:the first stage was concerened with web skills tutorial ,the second stage was concerned with searching the internet and the third stage stage was concerened with writing online and feedback.The findings of the study proved that the online reading and writing program was effective in developing some writing skills of English major students.
