Abstract
The present thesis comprises four chapters: the first chapter deals with a general review on the literature of the complexes of azo compounds, in addition to asurvey on the to a survey on the extraction of metal complexes with organic solvents. The aim of this investigation is to study the types of chelate compounds of UO2, CO2+, Cu2+, Ni2+, and Fe3+ with solochrome and trihydroxyazobenzene and their extraction by different organic solvents.
