Abstract
Pluchea dioscoridis (L.) DC. is an important wild mesophyte, evergreen , richly branced hairy pernnial shrub, purberulen and glandular, belongs to family Asteraceae (Compositae), it occurs mainly in Nile Delta and grows along the canal banks, moist habitats, salinized abandoned fields, non-salinized abandoned fields and depressions between the terraces of roads and railway lines.
