Abstract

this thesis contains of four chapters
chapter one deals with three angles the first is the literary heritage of jane austen andhow the critics evaluated her the second angel is concerned with the three characteristics of the three novels concerned that represent three important phases in austen’s literary development
the third angle handles the allusiveness of jane aysten’s art
chapter two of this thesis examines point of view as aliterary technique of many difinations and variations
chapter threesheds light on may stylistic techniques and their application as illustrated in the three concerned novels
chapter four is complimentary to the previous chapter as it shows adiscription of all the verbal style of the charactera involoved
