Abstract
In the last few decades, it has been noticed that a huge number of reinforced concrete constructions all over the world needs to be repaired or at least maintained which costs a lot of effort, Time and money.
One of the crucial problems which faces the struetural engineers and professionals is to identify the mix proportions and cement content as well as the mednanical properties of the existing concrete without causing any deterioration or damage in the struetural elements. By knowing these properties of concete, methods of repair andretrofitting technique can be easily chosen on ascientific basis as well as re-design of structural elements can be exactly calulated.
The main objective of this research is to find out empirical equations and design charts to determine the mix propritions, coment content, and compressive strength of hardened concrete, by using the well known, non-destructive tests.
