Abstract
The present work aims to study the effect of vitamin A deficiency on some reproductive performances, particularly semen quantity and quality. 60 Rahmani of two years old sheep are employed for this study. The animals are assigned three nutritional treatments. Vitamin A free ration is offered to all groups according to Tommi standards. Weight changes are recorded weekly, blood content of vitamin A is determined monthly and two successive ejaculates are obtained twice weekly from all rams for semen evaluation. Recovery of vitamin A deficiency is tried by vitamin A administration at the level used in the control groups.
