Abstract
The objectives of the study are accomplished by monitoring the biochemical consequences of hyperthermia in normal and hepatotoxic rabbits on one hand, and the potentials of pyrogenicity in presence of liver damage on the other. In this connection, rabbits rectal temperatures are recorded after the injection of TAB vaccin as a pyrogen source. Also total proteins, Albunins, activities of alkaline phosphatase, transaminases, triglycerides, bilirubin, creatinine in the serum of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) in the liver of rabbits are determined. Besides, histopathological studies on the rabbit liver are carried out after the induction of pyrogeniclty in normal and hepatotoxic animals. Hepatotoxic state is induced by isopropanol-carbon tetrachloride treatments.
