Abstract The objectives of the present study were designed hoping to study the following: (1) to evaluate some economic traits, such as, live body weight gain. Age at sexual maturity, egg mass production and egg quality in diallel crossing experiment. (2) to estimate heterosis resulting from crossing between two breeds. (3) to estimate variance components due to sire and dam breed, and (sire X dam) breed interaction. (4) to evaluate effects of two different methods of feed restriction on the previous characteristics. |
