Abstract
This Work Aims At The Control Of The Cotton Leafworm Spodoptera Littoralis Boisd. Which Has Attracted The Attention Of A Number Of Invistigators During Several Decades. Selecting Insecticides For Either Field Or Laboratory Trials From The Vast Number Of Potential Materials Available For Testing, Requires Nine Extensive Evaluations Than Those Reported In The Literature. However, More Detailed Tests Are Essential To Establish The Relative Toxicity Of The More Promising Candidate Materials. Particular Attention Is Paid To Two Insecticides, Dursban And Cyolane Which Are Recommended For Use In Control Of This Insect In The Cotton Growing Regions Of A.R.E.
