Abstract
This thesis concerns the procedure of redefining the egyptian networks.Firstly the collections of most of the previous redefinitions and their recommendations are presented.The design of the the network`s first and second order is discussed which clearly shows the eteps clearly such as geology, instruments, observations required... etc.
GPS observations are used at distand.Separately control points through the egyptian networks, therefore long line formula are explained.
An area of first and second order triangulation networks was taken as a subject of case study.The new instruments of survey such as total stations are evaluated.Accordingly, new surveying procedures were applied and analyses were given.
The evalution and test of using GPS through application are done in order to use GPS in egyptian networks.
