Abstract
This thesis includes three chapters the first of which deals with the use of microwave in the synthesis of organic compounds synthesis of acyclonucleosides and synthesis of thioglycosyl heterocycles. The second chapter is a discussion of the work carried out by the candidate it deals with the synthesis and chemical modification of some carbohydrates linked to nitrogen heterocycles the work in this thesis can be divided into four main parts role of microwave in the synthesis of seco C nucleosides acyclic and cyclic nature of products from reaction of sugars with 2 pyridylcarboxamidrazone role of microwave in the synthesis of thioglycosyl heterocycles and interglycosidically S linked 1 thio oligosaccharides.
