Abstract
This thesis includes three chapters the first of which deal with the role of microwave in assisting organic synthesis, functionalized benzo(b)thiophene rings, role of hydrazine derivatives in the synthesis of 1,2,4-trizoles and synthesis of acyclonucleosides.
