Abstract
Actinomycets comprise a large diverse group of gram positive predominately filamentous bacteria that inhabit a wide range of environmental habitats some of them are pathogenic but majority are soil and water saprophytes as well as on plant meterial where they play impartant roles in maintaining the soil struccture and composting.
