Abstract
The degree of suitability of some rapid methods for determination of protein and total solids in egyptian buffaloes’ and cow’s milk, as an essential need for routine tests in dairy plants, is discussed in the present work. Testing both of Bulk and individual cow’s milk for protein content using pro-milk tester gives results in accordance with that obtained by formol titration. These results indicate that pro-milk tester can be sufficiently used in both of bulk and individual cow’s milk.
