Abstract
The present study is planned to investigate some productive traits at late periods of growth and to calculate the estimates of heritability of these traits and the phenotypic and genetic correlations among them in the two strains of Fayoumi chickens and their two reciprocal crosses. One of the two strains is selected for high egg production denoted as PP, while the secaod as selected for body weight at eight weeks of age denoted as GG. Their two reciprocal crosses are denoted as PG and GP number of pedigreed progenies used are 2026 males and 2056 females. The traits studied are body weight at 12, 16, 20, weeks in both sexes, body weight of males at 24 weeks of age and body weight of females at sexual maturity.
