Abstract This study is initiated in order to investigate the applicability of feeding protected oils to lactating buffaloes and the effect of these supplements on the composition and properties of milk and milk fat. The study is also extended to the use of milk with high polyunsaturation in the production of spray dried milk, the following techniques are an attempt to modity milk fat: replacing a part of the milk fat with vegetable oil, followed by pasteurization and homogenization. Fractionation of milk fat at low temperatures or by solvents. Intravenous or intraduodenal infusions of polyunsaturated oils in lactating animals. |
