Abstract
A time series is a set of observations each one being recorded at a specified time a discrete time series the type to which this thesis is primarily devoted is one in which the set t of times at which observations are made is a discrete set typicaaly t+0+1,+2 as is th case for example when observation are made at fixed time intervals.
