Abstract
Two series of studies have been carried out: V.1- Field Survey Study: The aim of this study was to declare the effect of pollution with industrial wastes on agroecosystem quality in some industrial areas in Egypt. For this aim, samples of wastewaters, soil, and plant were collected as follows: V. l .II-nd ustrial Wastewater Samples: Samples of industrial wastewater were collected from three water streams are ; the River Nile representing an un-polluted water; drain No. 1 at El-Kilo 16, El-Rodhah village, Talkha; and collecting drain of wastewaters discharging from the Iron and Steel and El-Coke Factories and Misr Company of Petroleum Refining at El-Tabeen south Helwan city. Also, wastewater samples were collected from five discharge points of some factories are ; two discharge points of El-Nasr Company of Chemicals and Fertilizers at Talkha representing ammonium discharge point and carbon discharge point ; one discharge point of Misr Company of Petroleum Refining west Tanta city ; and two discharge points at Kafr El-Zaiyat, the first represents Superphosphate Fertilizer Factory discharge point and the second represents Salt and Soda Company discharge point. V.1.2- Plant and Soil Samples: Five locations were selected from Talkha, Tanta, Kafr El-Zaiyat, Abou Qir, and El-Tabeen south Helwan city. For Talkha, one site was choosen to represent El-Nasr Company of Chemicals and Fertilizers. For Tanta, one site was choosen to represent Misr Company of Petroleum Refining. For Kafr El-Zaiyat, two sites was choosen to represent Bricks Factories and Industrial Complex (Superphosphate Fertilizer Factory, Salt and Soda Company, and Pesticide Factory). For Abou Qir, one site was choosen to represent El-Nasr Company of Chemicals and Fertilizers.Whi1e for El-Tabeen south Helwan city, the two sites were the General Company of Metals and Conveyor Belt of El-Coke as well as the Iron and Steel and El-Coke Factories.
