Abstract
a) Coronary hem1 disease is a major health problem in the developed fmmunities where it ranks the fourth cause of death after injuries, malignanCies and suicides. In the developmental countries, due to better control of the serious infectious diseases and prolongation of the life span, ~D is emerging as a prominent public health problem. I Atherosclerosis is the main but not the sole cause of CHD.
