Abstract
Hemorrhoidal disease is a corlmon complaint among patients and much of time passed without accurate assessment of the new modalities of treatment.Hemorrhoidal disease is a benign complaint, although severe pain was complained of by patients after any operation for teatment.This study aimed at comparing the conventional diathermy method of hemorrhoidectomy with LigaSure hemorrhoidectomy for treatment of third and fourth degree hemorrhoidal disease. Our study included fifty-six patients, twenty-one of them were treated by LigaSure hemorrhoidectomy and the other thirty-five patients were treated by the conventional method after randomized study.
