A summary of the study and its recommends
This chapter is a summary of the mam steps which have been
excuted in this research approaching the most important results and out
comes I have concluded, and also my own recommends and
suggestions in this study.
The following is more details to what is preceeded.
First, a summary of the study:
J - Introduction:
Arabic handwriting is condsidered one of the most elevated and
exalted arts that promotes the talent, activates the mind, elevates the
taste, rectifies the feelings, and tempts with beauty. It is as elevated as
drawing and music. Therefore, it is one of the natural things that
distinguishes some people. This natural ability helps them to be perfect
in it, in a very short time with least effort if they are trainned on the
hands of a specialist. Hand-writing is one of the subjects that has
certain rules that can be a cquired by more practicing. Arabic hand _
writing is one of the sigaificannt arts in the field of education, as it
helps the student to read, revise what he has written and secures his
right in his teacher’s evaluation for answer. It is also one of the
important means to raise the standard of the arising pupils education.
The most important thing is that it plays a constant vital role in
protecting the Arabic language from deviation and forgery, under the
claim of development and originality. This vital role is played also in
the social, economical, cultural, and decorated life, as,it is a means for
heritage- Neeping and passing it from one generation to another. It is
also a means of communication among people, fmancial profit and
spiritual enjoyment for its lovers.
The problem of the study:
The present problem of the study lies in the bad need to develop
the talent of the first circle pupils of the develop the talent of the first
circle pupils of the basic stage in the Arabic hand-writing.
The problem of this study can be epitomised in this main question:
How far the refcommended programme is effective in developing
and increasing the talents of the primary school - pupils in the Arabic
hand - writing with its both types. The cursive and the text?
This question is split to other questions;
- What are the Arabic hand - writing skills required for the primary -
stage pupils ?
- How far these skills are available in the pupils of this stage.
- What is the reconuna*d programme to develop these skills and
talents?
- How for this programme will affect the hand - writing of the pupils of
this stage?
3- The aims of the study:
This study aims at presenting an eductional programme that helps
to improve the talents and skills of the fifth year pupils in the Arabic
hand writing with its two types, both cursive and text.
4- The thesis a/the study:
There are no differences of statical significance between males
and females in the performance of Arabic hand - writing with its two
types - cursive and text in the previous test.
There are differences of estatical significance between the
performance of the total sample in both the previous and final tests in
the skills, of Arabic hand - writing with its two types cursive and text.
There are no differences of statical significance between the
performance of the total sample in the two exams - the first previous,
and the delayed final ~ the Arabic hand - writing skills - both cursive
and text.
There are differences of statical significance to the effect of time
on the performance of the total sample in the two tests; the first
previous and the delayed final in the Arabic hand - writing skills - both
in cursive and in text.
The limits of the study :
This study is limited to a sample of the fifth year pupils of the
primary stage in Gharbiya Government. It is also limited to the
”cursive” and the ”text’ I hand - writings.
6- The procedures executed in the study:
First, the theoritical level is represented in the revision of the old
cultural heritage books to know the main - sources of the Arabic hand _
writing, its beginning, its development, its nature, its imports, its aims,
its types and its reality, and also knowledge at teaching methods’books
of the Arabic langment skills, the books of teaching the Arabic
language in the primary stage, and the books which are specified tor
teaching of the arabic hand - writing to know the previous researches
and studies - arabic and foreign - which are made in the teaching field
of hand - writing.
Second, the practical side, it is represented in the preparation of
the tools which are used in this study and it is came from the previous
theoretical side. These tools are :
I- Alist of skills, aimed at defining the Arabic hand - writing skills with
its two types, text and cursive”, which is suitable for the fifth year
students of the primary stage.
2- Anotebook, aimed at evaluating the students standard of
performance in the Arabic hand - writing skills, with its two types
”text and curesive”.
3- Arecommended programme aimed at improving some skills of the
Arabic hand - writing with its two types ”text and cursive” to the
fifth - year students of the primary stage.
4- Acquisition test, aimed at knowing the abundance extent of the
arabic hand - writing skills with its two types ”tedxt and cursive”
to the fifth-year students of the primary stage and how far they
could acquire those skills.
Third, the experimental side is represented in the accuracy
adjusting of the following changes and what follow it from application’s
steps:
I- A study - sample : it is arandomly taken sample from the fifth - year
students of the primary stage in EI-Gharbiya government and it is a
ccurating through • stabilizing of the factors of age and the
intellectual and sexual energies of the students.
2- An exploring study to know the reality of the Arabic hand - writing
skills with its two types ”text and cursive” to the students of this
sample.
3- An application of the hand - writing test, a previous application to
know the extent of the abundance of the arabic hand - writing skills
with its two types ”text and cursive” to the fifth - year student.
4- An application of the recommended programme III the form of
samples, each sample encloses a writing statement represents the
skill of the sample subject.
5- An application of the hand writing test, later application to know the
acquision extent of the students of the sample of the arabic - hand _
writing skills with its two types ”text and cursive” then a later
delated application.
6- Registering the results and accounting differences and knowing the
statistical index.
7- Tile results of study:
A- According to the first thesis. It is found that there aren’t differences
of statistical index between the performance of males and females
of the study sample in the previous test in the Arabic hand - writing
skill with its two types ”text and cursive” .
B- Concerning the second thesis, it is found that there are differences of
a statistical index between the total sample performance in the two
tests, the previous and the first dimensional in the Arabic band _
writing skins with its two types ”text and cursive” .
C- Concerning the third thesis. it’s found that there are differences of a
statistical, index between the total sample performance in the two
tests, the first dimensional and the delated dimensional in the
Arabic hand - writing skills with its two types ”text and cursive” .
D- concerning the fourth thesis, it’s found that there are differences of a
statistical index of the time effect on the whole sample performance

Second, the suggestions and recommends concermng the
educational programmes for hand - writing, and preparing its tools, and
according to the results of the study, the researcher recommends the
following.
