المستخلص

In this study the researcher has dealt with a comparative study of the
social Acceptance for the Deaf adolescents, the Hard hearing, and the
Hearing.
The handicaped represent a large number in any society, Naturally
each group needs special educational and psychological requirements
which differ from these of normal children, from one aspect and according
o
to type of handicape from the other aspect-
There is no doubt that the social enviromnent in which the deaf, or
the’ hard of hearing live plays an important role in facilitating or
complicating his ability to deal with the difficulties resulted from being
handicaped. If the society the whole one or the small family accepts the
handicaped person as being a one of abilities and attitudes by which he can
play an effective role in the society, this has a good reflection positively on
him, he accepts himself, his society, tries to be positive and effective, on
the” contrary, if the society considers him as an unable person, this has a
negative effect on him, he hates himself and his society with feelings of
inferiority, he withdraws, and returns to behave against the society asa
o
social person.
By introducing the previous studies being available, the researcher
can say that the hearing handicaped persons have many problems in
comparison with their peers, such as difficulties in communication, feelings
of .loneliness, .frustration,1Iesides they suffer from emotional disturbances, .
and are more aggressive.
