Abstract Feminist criticism had gradually changed from the 1970s and the 1980s. The proper meaning of feminism has its origin in Mary Wollstonecrsft’s vindication of the right of women (1792)which discusses the problem of women’s inquality in society. Then the feminist critics have developed their thoughts and enlarged the ideas to give women some of their rights. Virginia Woolf’s A room of one’s own (1929)explores the reality of the situation of women in a literary tradition. She undicates how women have been deprived, for example, of education as she describes the violence of patriarchy that prevents women from an elementary right fiction. |
