Abstract
One hundred and thirteen patients withcemented total hip arthroplasty were revised in the orthopadische klinik kassel in germany in the period from january 1998 to the end of december 1999 and followed up till the end of december 2000. At the end of follow up six patients were missed, four died, one had dementia and could not have definite data from him and one we could not obtain him. The indications of revision were aseptic loosening of both stem and cup in 41 pateints.
