Abstract Fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) is a complex, non-inflammatoiy pain syndrome characterized by tdta~ body pain, fatigue and dysfunctional sleep patterns.FMS is poorly understood, having no known etiology or cure. Symptoms demonstrate an inconsistent and frequently unpredictable pattern of severity.The aim of this work is to study the effect of EMGbiofeedback therapy in the treatment of primary fibroinyalgia compared with the effect of ultrasound therapy.This study was carried out on 40 patients fulfilled the ACR classification criteria for fibromyalgia. They were collected from the out patient clinic of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitatio~i Department ’I’anta University I-lospitals. Their ages ranged from 27- 58 years with mean age 40.95 2 8.99 years , all of them were female. |
