Abstract
This study was conducted at urology department tanta university hospitals during the period of the study. it included patiens with symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia and patients suffering from symptoms related to chronic prostatitis. The patients were divided into : it included 40 patients suffering from obstructive and irritation symptoms resulting from bengin prostatic enlargement, In this group dehydrated ethanol was injected transurethrally into the prostate gland by the prostaject needle.
