Abstract
TTV is a newly identified single-stranded unenveloped DNA virus that is suggested to be associated with post transfusion non A-E hepatitis of unknown etiology. This work was carried out on 60 haemodialysing patients and 30 . healthy blood donors as a control group. The haemodialysing patients were selected from the nephrology unit of the general medicine of tanta university hospital. They included 34 males and 26 females and they had a mean sge was an age range from 8 - 64 years.
